Dawn McFadden

Dawn is one of the founding partners of McFadden Bushnell. Dawn moved to Chagrin Falls, Ohio when she was in High School. She attended law school at Case Western Reserve University and has most of her professional life in the Cleveland area. Dawn focuses on assisting clients and their families with estate planning, elder law planning, special needs planning as well as estate administration. When not in the office, she can be found in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with her husband André and their dog Feather.

Dawn has been a member of the planning section for the Ohio State Bar Association Elder Law Institute since 2018 and was co-chair for the 2020 and 2021 Elder Law Institute. Dawn helped to establish the separate Special Needs Planning Seminar as part of the Elder Law Institute. The 4th OSBA Special Needs Planning seminar was held in 2022. Dawn is also the past Co-Chair of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Small Firm & Solo Practitioner section.

Chris is a founding partner of McFadden Bushnell.  A longtime resident of the Cleveland area, Chris spent the first decade of her legal career as a paralegal before taking the plunge and going to law school.   She concentrates her practice on elder law and estate planning, particularly assisting her clients plan for long-term care issues through the use of Medicaid crisis and pre-planning, helping families plan for loved ones with special needs as well as general estate planning. Outside the office, Chris and her husband Mike are busy keeping up with their sons Declan and Sean. Chris and Mike can be found cheering on the kids with their various high school activities, including hockey and crew.

Chris has been a member of the planning section for the Ohio State Bar Association Elder Law Institute since 2018 and is co-chair for the 2024 and 2025 Elder Law Institutes. Chris is a past Vice Chair of the Women In Law section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

Kelsey Francis

Kelsey Francis joined the McFadden Bushnell team in 2024. She is a paralegal assisting with estate planning, elder law, and probate matters.

Kelsey grew up in Toledo Ohio. She graduated from Cleveland State University with a bachelors degree in journalism. She now lives in Euclid, Ohio with her husband Zac and their dog Pico and their cats Luna, Juneau, Betty White, and Penny. Kelsey enjoys going to concerts and the art museum.
